Torsk Work Weekend 9
May 31, June 1-2, 2002
Bob Gawe takes measurements to see if the scope has moved any. A jack was placed under it in an attempt to move it upwards and free it from the wedges that are holding it at the top of the sail, but it proved unsuccessful when the jack broke!
"Diver" Dave Ranlet shows some of the work he has been doing in the Pump Room, which he has taken on as his personal restoration project. On the left is a clean drawer from the supply cabinets, on the right is a dirty one.
Jim Flanders and Cal Moon work in Radio, prepping for the URC-32 assembly.
Neil Ballenger works on the light fitting for the jackstaff. Neil is part of the USS Croaker restoration team, up in Buffalo. This was his first Work Weekend with us, and we hope to see more of him in the future. We also look forward to exchanging ideas and advice with the Croaker guys!
