After the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem, sung by Chief Firefighter Forbes, we had some words from the members of the Police Department and Fire Department. Here, our own Don Rubin speaks. Don made the trip to New York to help in the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center.

We then had the customary Tolling of the Bell for the lost boats and crews. Here, Ron Exell and Bill Coleman do the honors as Gunz reads off the boat names and dates of loss. Later, Bill Butler (also a Torsk vet) rang the bell as well.
