Everyone kept back as the skid was eased into the after room. Guns kept busy working the chainfall that was used to pull the skid down into the room.

(YES - you are actually seeing Guns working!!!!!)

Once the skid was almost level in the room, the chainfalls were re-rigged to provide lift and the skid was shifted onto the mounting rails. Looks like Fred Polgardy is trying to move the skid into place by himself!!!!

After the skid was in place, the MK-27 was reassembled, placed on the skid, and secured using a strap from the ORION.

A second skid was also removed and placed on deck near the FTR loading hatch to be used when the MK14 comes aboard later this year. That skid will be placed back in the FTR once the load is complete.
