Torsk Work Weekend V

May 19-21, 2000

Friday morning Brian Flynn, Frank Morgan and Gil Bohannon went to retrieve our MK14 torpedo from the Department of Public Works storage lot. The museum rented a rollback truck to carry it. The driver said the only other weird thing he had carried was a dead horse!

Driving through downtown Baltimore with a Torpedo on the back sure drew some stares! There was almost an accident when a motorist stopped at a green light to look when we were sitting in a left turn lane!!

At Matt's shop, we used a forklift to place a carriage under the torpedo, then tow it off the truck into the shop.

The torpedo is safely stored at the shop.
