MK 37 Torpedo Load
USS Torsk SS-423
June 15, 2002
After the load was complete, Master Chief Boughton presented a plaque to commemorate the restoration of the MK 37 by the Naval Station Torpedo Facility crew in June 2001. Gilbert Bohannon accepted the plaque on behalf of all the Torsk Volunteers. It will be placed on display in the wardroom aboard Torsk.
A final shot of the MK 37 securely strapped in its new home in the Forward Torpedo Room aboard Torsk.
Thanks to all the Torsk Volunteers, Yorktown Crew and Martin Imbach crane crew for their work on this project!
