John stops by the Wardroom on his way forward to Sonar.

Up forward, Ramjet found a hole and crawled into it! He went under Sonar from the waterways, and down into this well. Then he found out there was a deck hatch right outside the sonar shack that he could have gone through! He found 30 cents, an umbrella, and a plastic fingernail, which of course went right with the sonar shack and the sonar girls. He did express his concerns as to why anyone would need an umbrella on a submarine!!

Denny Troutman was an EN3 on board USS Orion AS-18 from 61-63. He saw the pix of our visit to Orion to remove parts, and we invited him to come down to the boat to meet the guys. He and his wife spent a couple hours aboard, and also brought pix of Torsk and several other boats taken from Orion in the early 60's. Thanks for visiting Denny, and come back soon!
