This was taken in either July or August of 1971. All four members of the ET gang were promoted on the same day. The picture shows us with our CO, CDR Smith. From left to right: George Bowns ETCM, Bruce Boast ETCS, A.G. Yeakle ETCS, and me, Phil Somerset ETC (Egads! Look at those sideburns and Photogray lenses!!).
