USS Torsk SS-423

2011 Dry Docking

March 21, 2011

Dave Thames and Gil Bohannon walk the deck as a windy and rainy day greeted us

for the trip back to Baltimore's Inner Harbor.  The dock was fully flooded,

and Torsk had a slight port list still to be corrected.

Chief Mike raises the flag for morning colors.

The port list can be seen in this photo looking over the bow at Constellation.

Tugs are removing the drydock caisson.

The caisson pulls away, opening up the dock for our exit.

Captain Steve ties up aft.

Chief Mike helps Rachel shift colors to underway as we back away from the dock.

Flying proudly!!!

Underway astern on Tug Power as we head out of the dock.

Don't Tread on Me!
